About the Book
“Tucker’s tales are fiction but Tucker himself is a real live boy. He was rescued from a place where he was abused and neglected and my brother and sister-in-law have been taking care of him ever since. Tucker’s ‘Dad’ even commented that these stories truly reflect Tucker’s behavior with only a slight exaggeration. I wanted everybody to meet him so they can understand that the way we treat animals shows the way we treat people.”
About the Author
A.M. Sommer is a customer service representative for an insurance company. Her most recent works are Superstition’s Mystery and Tucker’s Christmas. Besides writing, she enjoys painting and sketching. She lives in Dayton, Ohio. When she talks about her future, she always says “I want to learn new things.” When discussing her writing, she says, “I’ve always lived in a fantasy world with my imaginary friends and when I was a child, reading introduced me to a world that was so exciting I couldn’t get enough of it. Once I learned to write I was always making up short stories even if they covered half a page of paper. By the time I was in the eighth grade my friends and I were into Fan Fiction. We were huge Star Trek fans and we were always writing our own episodes and showing them to each other. It made us the most famous Junior High School students in our district; at least for a little while.
