About the Author

Margaret Pestone, “Peggy” to her family and friends, has been writing since she was a young girl. Living in foster homes, moving from place to place, poetry became the one stable constant in her young life. Margaret owned an accounting firm for several years, was a broker in a large Manhattan brokerage house and spent many years in the construction business retiring from a New York City Construction Agency in year 2000. Margaret loves speed and has driven a NASCAR, operated heavy equipment and worked in the theatre. She divides her time between living on a boat on Manhasset Bay on Long Island Sound and on a mountain top in Orange County NY that overlooks four states She shares her life with her husband Ron, their two children, seven grandchildren and their dog Posey.
