About the Book
This book of poems is original and is based on life experiences. The different subjects of the poems tell a story of different life components—from time all around us to children and nature, as well as people of all types with different moods, all depicting different consequences in life. It is my second book of poetry to be published. Unlike my first book, which is being dedicated to my late dad, this book stands erect and tall by itself. I hope this book of poetry gives a more meaningful life to its readers. If it does, it will have served its purpose. One of my main purposes in life is to help others.
About the Author
I was born on December 7, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, where I spent my first ten primary and elementary years, K-5, growing up. In December 1965, the family and I moved to New London, Connecticut. My father was transferred from the Brooklyn Naval Shipyard to the Groton Submarine Base. Basically my education starts with kindergarten PS 207 with Miss Hill. After PS 207, I transferred to another elementary school, PS 222, which was up the street from where we lived and where I attended first grade through fourth grade. After settling in New London, I finished the last two primary years at Harbor School (fifth and sixth grade). Seventh and eighth grades I attended Bulkeley Junior High School in New London, Connecticut. Starting in the ninth grade, I became part of New London High School until I graduated in June 1973. I began my collegiate career in September 1973 at Mohegan Community College. My program of study, a liberal arts degree, earned me an AS degree with honors in May 1976. Pursuing my next best area of interest, elementary education, I started Eastern Connecticut State University in September 1976. I graduated with a BS degree in May 1979. I attended the Graduate School of Communications at Fairfield University.
