About the Book

The Skeleton in my Closet is a photographic journal of a survivor of abuse, who captured the sedimentation process of silenced pain through the voice of her camera lens. This visual form of expression, lead to transformation of empowering the immobilized skeleton out of the closet into regaining the power necessary to validate her true existence as a being who is finally understood.

About the Author

Cristina Da Silva, a mother devoted to her daughter and husband, is inspired to share her passion of photography and to assist others through her missions of charity. Traveling to seashores is an extension of her desire to spread her wings and fly free.
