Dedrick Sims is also the founder and senior consultant of Zen Educational Consulting Group in Mobile, Alabama. Dedrick’s work has appeared in several newspapers and journals across the country as well as several appearances on television news shows. Dedrick chooses the print media to convey his message of understanding a student’s culture to efficiently communicate and ultimately educate him, empower him, and ultimately teach him to educate others.
