About the Author

Delicia Ard was born in New Orleans in 1974. She has been writing poetry since 2001. She is a single mother of three. She resides in Copperas Cove, Texas. These are her original poems. Delicia has performed at Under One Roof bookstore in Killeen Texas, using the name “The Poets Delight”. Her first love is slamming poetry. She has Bipolar Disorder which she says is her inspiration for writing. Her poetry is profound and inspirational. Ms. Ard takes us on a journey through her life with her poems that will leave you breathless!
