Larsen being eleven our of thirtee children, has found Christ as her running partner. God has gifted her with optimism to overcome adversity.

Being an optimistic child, loved by actions and not by physical affection, falling in love as a very young teenager, and appreciating wisdom from lessons learned, Lupe Marie tells her story in an intriguing and humorous novel form.

Born in Mexico, experiencing prejudice as a child, in her own family, eloping with an oler man in the United States, being presented by her ex-husband with the choice of their marriage or their unborn baby, escaping from a cult are oly a few of the many stories written by Acosta Larsen.

Race for Acceptance is not only her story, it can be any one of us who has survived a venerial disease as a child, adversity, divorce, emigrate from another country, has served as a missionary into Asia, or has had a teenage brother two years older then her, who was killed.
