About the Book

This is a true story about a young man who got caught up in one of the largest international cocaine operations in recent times and was vigorously pursued by the government. Ceasar was betrayed by his family, he was betrayed by three corrupt attorneys, he spent eight months in one of the most dangerous jails in the country fighting the government and a hanging judge who wanted to put him away for life. He eventually won his case using an entrapment defense that had a one in a million chance of success. This life altering event motivated him to study law to become a lawyer and to also obtain an MBA. This story is filled with edge of your seat action, suspense, romance and a young man’s determination to turn a personal tragedy into a success story.

About the Author

Cesar Dominguez grew up in the north side of Chicago and was a Union Carpenter from 1984 to 1992. He went back to school at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1992, and earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science in 1994. Cesar continued his education at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana where he earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 1997. Cesar participated in the Houston Law Center NAFTA Program held in Mexico City in 1995. He participated in the Binational Moot Court Competition where he earned the best advocate award. At the start of his career, Cesar worked for AT&T, Broadwing Communications, Thomson West- FindLaw, The CD Investment Group, Inc., a residential and commercial investment company, and Scorpion Design, one of the best Internet law firm marketing companies. Cesar is currently the President of his law firm, The Law Office of Dominguez & Associates, P.A. located in Miami Beach, Florida.
