About the Author

Author Biography I’m Jorene Tarver, this is “My Life in Retrospect.” I was born on October 19, 1925 to Taylor and Thelma Tarver in Hardin County, Silsbee, Texas. As one of six siblings, I was number three. From two marriages came four children for me – Conrad Carlton, Rhonda Carlton Wood, Alana Davis Webb and Andrea Jo Davis Smith. Two of my children are deceased, Conrad Carlton and Alana Davis Webb. May you both rest in peace. Having lived in Austin, Texas for forty-one years, I will probably remain here for the rest of my life.
