About the Author

About the Author Dr Espie Claudio was raised in Paco, Manila Philippines. Since they lived two blocks from the Paco Catholic Church, she became involved in church service. She became an organist for 15 years starting at age 11 in their school and church. . She organized a choir which she named “Kabalikat Sa Musika”. They ended up champion in a citywide competition. Eventually, they were invited to join a zarzuela “Andres Bonifacio, ang Anakpawis” with Tommy Abuel. It was held for 3 nights at the Cultural Canter of the Philippines. They donated their winnings and proceeds to the church. Then and after, she spent her time serving and raising funds for church through concerts, weddings, carolings ,and other invitations. In 1984, she finished her dental school. At the same time, the choir was disbanded due to hectic schedules of the members. In 1985, she opened her dental office and started writing poems. In 1988, she left for New York. She moved to California in September 1992, after passing her California Dental State Board Exam in August of the same year. She had become a dentist by profession but writing has become an obsession. She has had many lessons she learned that she wants to share. She was blessed with so many trials that made her stronger everyday. She had learned so much about life that made her write about it. Thus, in this book she wrote, she wanted to share her inner thoughts and hopes you can relate to them. -by Dr. Espie Claudio
