About the Book

In December of 2007, a normal, active and out going 16 year old boy went from starring on the soccer field to suddenly and unexpectedly, battling a devastating genetic heart condition that was causing his heart function to deteriorate rapidly. What followed was a two-month hospital stay that was riddled with complications that ultimately led to the need for a heart transplant. This true story is told through the eyes of his parents, as they lived the nightmare 24/7 while never leaving the hospital for those 58 days of pure hell.

About the Author

Richard Miller, the father of Ryan Miller, was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Business Administration, he embarked on a successful career in banking. Shortly after getting married, he moved his family to Central New Jersey where he continues to reside with his wife Danielle and sons, Justin and Ryan.
