About the Book

About the Author

The author grew up in Nebraska and enlisted in the US Army. After a career of 20 years, he retired in Michigan where he lives now. He has a varied background. Twenty years in the Army, Department head in Public School, owned and operated a Christian Book store for 13 years, drove public school bus for 7 years and served on many boards and civic organizations. He has now completely retired and spends his time in Michigan and Florida where he enjoys the warm weather and hobbies of woodworking, carving, and oil painting. This book was the outcome of a little poem for his grand children to remind them of their Grandpa and his pet monkey he had in Vietnam.
