Getting married at sixteen years old is perfectly legal in Romania.However,the preparednes and maturity of any person marrying at this age is a different matter.Rodica Vinca testified to the hard realities of getting married at a young age as she shares the untold story of the personal life in her autobiographical book, "Innocently Married". Foolishly and blindly in love for the first time in her life,a young woman decided tu jump head-first into marriage with her boyfriend. Her in-laws were supportive and even prepared a handsome party for her and her new husband.Until her husband suddenly transformed before her eyes and become a treacherous lecher who consider that money can solve everything. Then she become a mother at age seventeen,eventualy raising two kids. Thus began a true story of Rodica Vinca´s life,a difficult initiation into marriage and parenthood she only realized too late that she was unprepared to face. About the Author

About the Author Rodica Vinca was born in 1950 in Piatra Neamt, Romania. She got married at sixteen and had her first child at seventeen. Her marriage lasted twenty-six years. She graduated from the University of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj—Napoca, Romania. She first worked as a secretary and, later on, became a high school biology teacher. After she immigrated to Canada in December 2000, she started writing her first book Innocently Married and then Making Waves, the latter not published yet. Rodica Vinca is trying to portray the consequences that may occur from an immature decision of getting married at a very young age. She believes that her life experience, as presented in this book, would serve as a lesson for both young and adult readers. At the same time, Rodica Vinca is telling the untold story of her personal life and matters to her children, Juliano and Vianora, in the hope of sharing her emotions with the most important members of her family.
