About the Book
This book is a spiritual entrance into the author´s life journey of wilderness, the scriptures and poetic expressions of depression, confusion, hurt, doubt, disappointment, etc, lead her to a well of hope, faith, strength, healing, wholeness and love. The author expressed her pain from suffering because she didn't know who she was and she had not yet tapped into her purpose and calling, but after she answered the call, accepted and connected to her Savior, Jesus Christ, she was able to walk out her purpose and calling, as she persevered toward the promises of God.
About the Author
Shenequia Smith is a single parent raising two lovely children, Simone Davis-her 18 year old daughter and Richard Turner-her 16 year old son. Ms. Smith is a licensed minister serving at Rhema Tabernacle Ministries in Dallas, Texas, her spiritual parents are Apostle Quincy & Kerra Slaughter. In May of 1992, she graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas. She was on the National Art Honor Society and awarded a trophy for Promising Young Artist. She is now pursuing her Bachelors in Psychology at Dallas Baptist University and her goal is to become a Biblical Counselor in the future. Ms. Smith’s passion and her godly talent is informing, encouraging, and uplifting the people of God through her poetry, plays, quotes, and songs. She was a victim of deep depression stemming from her childhood and was healed by the hand of God in August of 2007, she struggled in the past with low self esteem, jealousy, and lust because she didn’t know who she was and she didn’t love herself, but through God’s word, confession, prayer, and spoken truth by Faith…and by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of her testimony…she is healed and whole too. To God Be The Glory!!!
