About the Book

Rainy Day Cowboy, Book 1, Storms Of Life is a book of 20 poems written in a lyrical style reminescent of Canadian/American country song lyrics. Each poem often shows the various singer/songwriter influences of Garry Garrisons life. From Kris Kristofferson in All She Sees Is A Wonderin´ Cowboy, to Johnny Cash in Til The End Of Time. Merle Haggard in Walk Of Life, and Tim McGraw in Shes My River There is a haunting sadness in some of these poems like, "Mistakes of Life", and "One Too Many Beer And One Less Tear". Each poem creates a vision with a history, that wells up with each line read. You may not know the whole story, but you will surely feel it.
