About the Book

What do you do when rainy weather floods your life sometimes? Do you whine and complain or do you fervently pray for change? If you’ve been there, or you’re there now, between “a rock and a hard place”, then this little book, “Seasons for A Reason” may be for you. This release is a poetry and essay collection that offers encouragement and inspiration, during the holiday season, as well as all year long.

About the Author

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Winnely Joyce, has had a love for writing ever since her “Big Chief” tablet school days. Over the years, she became even more passionate about expressing her ideas on paper. Listening to her 90 year old mother vividly recollect experiences over the past nine decades, inspired her to document a historical tribute to her. Thus, her first book entitled “Vita’s Legacy” was published in 2004. A second book “Calico Roses” was made available in 2008. Winnely’s other interest is photography. One of her photos placed in a contest and published in a volume called “Optical Illusions”. Then, another was used in the cover design of “Vita’s Legacy”. Married over 40 years, she and her husband have three children, Natalie, Kevin and Cicely, as well as nine grandchildren.
