About the Book

A little girl named Cassie telling the story of her life growing up on a farm. Her love and the interaction with all of the animals. The knowledge that as a family everyone does their part to help out. Her love of her parents, grandparents, and siblings. Her attachment to the land, nature and the animals and that sad things happen just as with people. Every child that has ever had a pet knows that sadness. But finds out that the sadness will brighten when another pet comes along and steals their heart.

About the Author

Growing up surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Much time was spent with her Parents and younger sister and brother on her Grandparents Farm. She learned to love and care for all animals. Her Mother still lives on the Family farm although non-working. Mother and Grandmother of a beautiful Daughter and the most fun and imaginative Grandson and Granddaughter. Lives near her childhood home with her Fiancé. They help care for their Grandchildren with their Dad working and their Mom has returned to school to be a Animal Groomer and works at the local Veterinarian Clinic.
