About the Book

First of all, he thinks God for everything He has done in his life and to be able to share his thoughts, his observances, his frustration, and his joy with the many who would take time to read his poetry. This book is the result of a long time suffering and gratitude. This book came about when he decided instead of telling people how he felt inside as a paraplegic and who he figured would never understand him even when he took time to explain. Therefore, he concluded to write down his thoughts. So, they failed to realize that behind his every day smile there was a hidden world of pain, sorrows, and questions but filled of hope. Many people still cannot comprehend how he was able to pull himself up so well from that stage of his life while enjoying very much so his poetry today. Now, wanting to share his thoughts with a bigger audience, he decided to publish this book of poetry.

About the Author

BENJAMIN NOEL was born in Quartier Morin, Haiti, grew up in Cap-Haitian in the north, and in 1994 travelled to Miami, Florida. A nominee of the wish book, Miami Herald in 1997. His poems have appeared in journals and books such as the Miami Herald, Metropolis of Miami Dade College, Frost at Midnight, and Best Poems of 1997. He holds a Bachelor and a Master Degree respectively from Florida Atlantic University and from St. Thomas University. Currently, he is working toward is PhD.
