About the Book
My purpose in writing this book is to draw the attention of the Christian community to what is happening to the values of the church and how they are being compromised. And how through time, what was once its core values and the central focus of its mission has gradually shifted until many of its original precepts have been lost. It is my hope that through making the church aware of its condition, it will awaken and once more embrace the teachings of Christ and the scriptures.
About the Author
I grew up in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and embraced its fundamental teachings with the emphasis on being born again, as Jesus said in John 3:3, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” I was called to pursue the ministry in my thirty-first year and enrolled in Nyack Missionary College, Nyack, New York. I graduated with a BS in theology. I have been a pastor for over forty years, ministering mainly in inner cities in churches located in New York and New Jersey. Presently I am retired from being a full-time pastor and serving as temporary supply in Newark, New Jersey.
