About the Author

Terry Camper, a married father of two adult men and one teenage daughter was born in Brinkley, AR. Having a very athletic father and mother who were raising his three brothers along with him, it only seemed natural that the boys would follow in their parents footsteps. They did. Being the "runt" of the bunch, Terry always knew that he had to work harder than the others to gain recognition. Although he did work hard, he did not earn an athletic scholarship. He did, however, receive a partial academic scholarship and enrolled in Arkansas State University. After two years studying Radio-TV broadcasting, he transferred to Philander Smith College. Still not having the focus he thought he needed, he joined the work-force. He felt through the years there was something burning inside of him. That something, the love for writing that he had abandoned years earlier, wasn't realized until he became the "father with a teenage daughter."
