About the Book

This book is inspired by many requests from both friends and clients. They wanted a list of plants that would grow in their gardens. All the reader needs to do is open this book to the section that matches the light level found in their yard. Further subdivisions allow the reader to choose a plant for the front, middle or back of the garden. The photographs in this book were all taken by the author, either in the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, or in her own garden, or in the gardens of her friends and neighbors.

About the Author

From early childhood, she has been captivated by the beauty of plants. Both her parents have been gardeners, and much that she knows about this enchanting pastime comes from them. She has studied horticulture at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Currently, she is the go-to person for plants at a big-box store.
