About the Book

I documented most of my own life’s adventures in my memoir “As Luck Would Have It.” That done, our daughter Claudia asked me to tackle my father’s random collection of photos, newspaper clippings, and recollections which he published as “Scrapbook Memories” in 1957 and has always been hard to decipher. I hope my family and friends will enjoy this account of his unusual and interesting life. I, myself, have a new appreciation of his exceptional abilities.
