About the Book

Everyone has his or her favorite stories. The best stories come straight from true-life events. Everyday life can be surprising, invigorating, horrifying, glorious, down right sad or full of hope. Everyone has a best day and a worse day. Sometimes you don’t need to embellish a story because often you can’t beat the facts for entertainment or imagination. These stories are a collection of events that took place over half a century in the course of a normal average life. These stories prove that mere mortals sometimes have no control over their destiny as it unfolds immediately in front of them.

About the Author

Robert N. D’Ambola spent 27 years in Law Enforcement fighting the never- ending battle for truth, justice, and the American way. He holds a BA in Law/Justice and a Master’s Degree in Administrative Science. He graduated from the Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command. After retirement, he became a Certified Business Continuity Professional and Emergency Planner for a global publishing company. He moved on to the Health Care field and served as Director of Security & Emergency Management for an urban hospital in New Jersey. All this experience could not stop him from writing this book.
