About the Book

"Good Morning Otis" is about my daughters pet ferret. This is a true story of our ferret and pomerainian who lived and played together. Our cats and old english sheepdog would watch these two tear through the house about every day. Otis loved to hide anything and everything. It did not matter what it was. If he could get it under my dresser he did and he could carry twice his weight. Elliot knew how to go find Otis when asked to and Otis would go find Elliot when asked to. I feel this book is about how two different animals can bond and become friends. Its easy reading for any age and the pictures are very true to life and wonderful. I hope you enjoy this wonderful story of two very different animals who lived and played and just made me laugh.

About the Author

Sharon Miller and her husband Gordon Miller live in Goshen IN where they have raised their four children Patrick, Ryan Katherine and Audrey Rose. Over the past 28 years of marriage they have also raised a Lhaso Apso named Chapin and an English sheepdog named Bourbon, many cats, gerbils, lizards, hamsters, snakes and of course Otis the ferret and Elliot the Pomeranian. “Life is much more fun with animals around and sometimes harder but they do brighten your day when one is feeling down.” All the kids would help with the animals and most of them were strays. Our children love animals and if we lived in the country with acreage 1m afraid we would just have too many. I hope you enjoy this book and share it with your children. The story is really about Elliot and Otis who lived in our house and were best of friends.
