About the Book

This story depicts the struggles of a family of divorce that have dealt with death, drugs, and tragedy before coming to the cross and allowing the Lord Jesus to take control of what was left of the family. David Burch struggled with his sexuality and later shared the gene pool with his own son, Jacoby. Their struggles were strikingly similar and their challenges were one of the same. True love and Christ’s conviction plays a major role in the soul searching and heart-warming trials of this father and son. A town crawling with deviant drug lords and mischievous activity leaves a trail of destruction and death before hope for change would emerge from the midst of a bad situation.

About the Author

I was born as Howard D. Meadows July 29, 1969, only nine days after the first man walked on the moon. My family is rather large and somewhat dysfunctional but the personality sets us apart from the norm. Each of us are very different but you can definitely tell that we are related. I am happily married to my wife, Ann L. Ricks Meadows, for thirteen years now. I have two children with my first wife, Adrianna (14) and Jacob (16). A few years back, I decided to continue my education goals with Ashford University online. Hopefully this book will not taint my resume as I am hoping that others will view me as being accomplished compared to where I have been. I am also known as Alias: Howard Damon Meadows Burch and THIS is WHO I AM!
