About the Author

About the Author Euwin Eason was born January 2, 1927 in Loving, Texas. He attended school in Loving, Graham and Bryson, Texas. In 1945 he was drafted into the army and took basic training at Camp Hood, Texas. After basic he served in Berlin, Germany in the 78TH Infantry and the 16TH Constabulary. He was discharged in November of 1946. In February 1948 he went to work as an un-located lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Fort Worth. He was sent to Shamrock, Texas and over the next two years worked in 22 different towns. He settled in Amarillo and then worked in Sweetwater, Lubbock and finally ended up in San Antonio. He held a variety of craft and management jobs and retired in 1982 after 34 years. For the last twenty five years he has lived in Devine, Texas. He married Inetha Rollins from Hollis, Oklahoma. They had four children, two boys and two girls. At present there are 7 grand children including 5 girls and 2 boys. He loves to write and has a book that will be published in the next year called “A Grumpy Old Man Speaks Out.”
