About the Book

In the distance a cry of fear could be heard as an orphaned colt battled the elements to survive. As nature would have it, the mother of stillborn foal and the motherless colt were destined to be united. Having forsaken the safety of traveling within a herd, this mother faced countless dangers while raising the saucy red colt in the hill country. She taught him well and he grew into a magnificent blood red stallion. As king of the land, all other creatures shored unquestionable respect for him. His playful nature turned to rage when his adoptive mother was forced to desert him. All of the wildlife retreated from sight when his pounding hooves were heard. Where he used to play and tease other critters he now struck out and killed in anger. On a spiritual mission to capture the red stallion, a lone Indian used patience and cunning to complete his task. Calming and taming the raging, unruly stallion led to countless fun filled events. Once over his fear of capture the big red horse rediscovered his playful and mischievous side and the Indian replaced the many critters he used to harass and became Cheetawgwa’s main target.
