Carter was San Francisco’s best associate District Attorney. While struggling to build a solid case against a Chinese crime syndicate, they killed his wife and two close friends. Then he got a call from Bill Eizen. That’s when his mission in life changed. Eizen worked for the NSA training special operations personnel. He was putting a team together that included Carter’s former Army Ranger team members. Their mission Eradicate a weapons and drug smuggling operation in the Brazilian Amazon. Heading the smuggling operation were the Russians and Cubans. Carter resigns as District Attorney and accepts the assignment to lead the team into the Amazon. He leads them into the underworld of smuggling from Miami to Cuba, and then to Brazil aboard a Russian sub. The mission seems to be a successful until a twist of fate brings the world to the brink of nuclear annihilation.
