Born to the late Effie (Brock) and Eugene Harry, Dorothy, the fifth daughter of eight (girls), was educated in Newark’s Elementary and High Schools – and earned Degrees from the Roberts Walsh Court Reporting School in Union, New Jersey, and Adelphi University in Garden City, Long Island. Dorothy always enjoyed writing and began showing a deep interest in public speaking, in general, and occasionally attended the Toastmasters Club, “Talk of the Towers” at the World Trade Center. Dorothy became editor f a column in “The Society Hill Journal” and wrote articles for that newsletter between 1999 and 2000. Once her creative thoughts took flight, she was determined to get her writings “out to the world.”
