About the Book

Technology is king and will continue to be the driving force enlightening mankind of the past and possibly the future. This is the story of one such technological development that reveals the past and the cosmo. The impact of gaining detailed information on the past and the existence of life beyond our small planet impacts all aspects of life on earth, including religion, morality and government. The developers of this technology are caught up in a multitude of conflicting interest that put life, as we know it, at risk. The technology is not beyond the realm off possibility.

About the Author

Colonel Whitman is a native of Western Maryland having attended public school in Cumberland. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland holding BS & MA degree in Economics. While attending high school Colonel Whitman and a friend discovered a series of adventure book by Stephen Meader. It was at this time he decided he wanted to be an author. Events however precluded this pursuit. He entered the Air Force and subsequently high-civilian posts in the Dept. of Defense. He however did not forget his dream and the “Backstreets of Heaven” has finally been completed.
