Harvey Finds a Home is a wonderful book that lovingly describes the joys and heartaches that owning a dog can bring. Sadly, Harvey’s original owner, a kind old man, can no longer care for Harvey. When he brings Harvey to an animal shelter in search of a new home, he is lovingly cared for by the staff but is often overlooked by people in search of a new pet because is older than many of the other dogs. When a family visits Harvey and decides to adopt him, he not only finds the happiness he once knew, but brings happiness and joy to his new family. Harvey Finds a Home is a touching story of love, loss and love found again. I highly recommend it.
