About the Author
Dr. Mani Augustine (Manuel) Chilampikunnel is Early Childhood Educational Consultant for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Educator by profession, Dr. Augustine has published several articles in reputed national and international journals. He was recognized by the United States Department of Education for his outstanding contribution and research on parental involvement and students performance. In the 1970s and ’80s, he served as administrator of St. Joseph School, Baramulla, Burn Hall School, Srinagar and as principal of St. Peter’s School, Jammu, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
