About the Author Dr. G. Fredrick Guzasky is an Affilated Artist at M.I.T. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a professor at Bridgewater State College. As a recitalist, he has performed in New England and the Midwest, as well as Russia, Latvia, and England, has a number of organ recordings on the Artona label, and is a specialist on the organ works of Josef Rheinberger. As a composer, this Bostonian Russian-American has to his credit several Masses, numerous choral anthems, including a series based on Russian Orthodox texts, and a number of instrumental works. Dr. Guzasky is also author of the Gregorian Chant Handbook and is director of the Slava Chorale, a Boston based group of professional singers that perform Russian and Greek music.
