About the Author

Rinku Bhattacharya is a passionate and creative cook. She is the founder and creative co-coordinator of “Cooking With Rinku” a private cooking school specializing in Indian and other Asian and Fusion Cooking based in Westchester County, NY. She uses cooking as a medium to share her heritage and love for good food and wine with others interested in learning Indian food the traditional home-style way. She has been teaching and working with food for the past five years and has been cooking with her mother and grandmothers from the age of nine. Rinku is also a financial professional specializing with non-profit organizations and has master’s degrees in Finance and Non-profit management. She is the proud mother of two energetic and lively children – her daughter Deepta and son Aadi.
