About the Book

Personal experiences inspired the author to write this book, believing that it will make a difference in the lives of others, especially young ladies and women. It is the author’s prayer that this book will serve as a preventive measure in helping others not to make the same destructive mistakes. This book will also serve as a source of hope and a step to wholeness for those who did make the same mistakes and feel that their life is over. This book is intended to lead others back to the Lord whose life has been smothered by the dread of mistakes and poor choices. Most of all, this Second Chance’s purpose is to let others know that God loves them regardless of what they have done.

About the Author

Johnnie M. Nelson, a Christian woman, who is a native of Elaine, Arkansas, presently residing in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, receiving a BS degree in business administration/economics, and an AA degree in data processing from Phillips Junior Community College located in Helena, Arkansas, has a desire to encourage women and men alike that life is not over when mistakes seem to dominate your life. She is an active member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Donald L. Agee, where she serves as administrative assistant. She loves helping people. She is an employee of Delta Natural Kraft in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and she owns her own printing business.
