If You Can’t Even Spell Muney or Investmants
This Book is for You
. . . a simple, easy-to-understand guide for working people who just want to be wealthy
Paul M. Diesel
When I’m thinking of buying a book, I read the information on the cover, any quotes of people who’ve read it, the contents and the first chapter.
So rather than writing something completely different from the book, I’ve decided to give you all of those so you’ll know exactly what you’d be buying.
Most working families don’t think they can ever be wealthy, but the facts, concepts, laws and strategies in this book say otherwise. No get-rich-quick schemes, but simply deciding to be wealthy, saving, understanding the markets and using the power of compounding and perfectly legal tax avoidance programs. All of those and more are discussed in detailed but understandable language, taking the mystery and fear out of investing.
Based on a successful investing and wealth management career, it shows becoming wealthy can be a mathematical certainty, and it’s easier to read than the financial pages.
“60 Minutes” reported 3 in 5 Americans could “go broke” during retirement. This book ensures that won’t happen to you and evokes a “Why Didn’t I Read This Sooner?” reaction.
Paul Diesel spent 26 years in banking, progressing to director of marketing at Fleet Bank, CEO of a community bank and to management positions in Bank of Boston’s investment business.
He learned what he writes during that time and from his considerable investing success. He then became a university teacher in marketing for 10 years. He has written numerous articles about business and investing and speaks extensively on those subjects in both the U.S. and abroad.
He holds a BA in Economics, Phi Beta Kappa, from Trinity College (CT) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He and the former Brooke Benjamin have two children, twins Caroline and Will. He lives in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Paul can be reached at paul.diesel@yahoo.com.
Quotes:
“As educated as I am, money matters always baffled me. Paul’s book took the mystery out of investing, and it made me feel comfortable and confident about our financial future.”
James H. Donnelly, Ph.D.

“I had no idea investing was so easy to understand. It always had a mystique about it. Thanks to his simple, plain English explanations, I now have a firm plan and a financial advisor.
Gerry Henry

“This is a no-nonsense book, and a very welcome one at that. Its explanations of the markets and tax deferment and avoidance are the best that I’ve seen.”
S. Peter Mills, Esq.

“Wonderful, long overdue book! I wish I’d read it long ago, but now that I have, I really believe we can become wealthy, wealthier than I ever thought possible.”
John Daly
Pharmaceutical Representative
Hingham, MA
“I thought it was a ‘get rich quick’ book, but I was pleasantly surprised. We doctors make quite a bit of money, but I never knew how to manage it or that I could become wealthier than I’d ever believed in a slow and steady way. One thing I was most impressed with is how what I don’t spend will grow incredibly over time.”
David Conley, M.D.
Boston, MA
“Well done. Very accurate and inspirational. Every working family should have a copy.”
Christopher Bean

About the Author
This is Paul Diesel’s third book, the first being the investing primer, If You Can't Even Spell Muney or Investmants, This Book is for You. The second, released in March and so far quite popular, is Imagine. It’s about what pop musicians just might be able to do to end today’s wars. So, of course, the story continues John Lennon’s quest for world peace. Or is it the man himself?! Paul graduated from Trinity College and Harvard Business School. He enjoyed a successful career in financial services and then taught marketing and finance for ten years at Bentley University. As you will gather from this book, Paul enjoys a good laugh. He lives in Scituate, MA and devotes his time to his children, Caroline and Will, to investing, speaking about investing and, of course, to writing. He can be reached at paul.diesel@yahoo.com.
