Identity is merely the external protection that surrounds your internal wiring; a unique composition. This life becomes seasoned by environment; flavored by heredity; destination yet unknown. Through the cultivation of relationships, and the survival of experiences, an ambiance is formed….. identity. Imagine this identity to one day just disappear….leaving a hollow body shell with no memory of past, no direction for future. How will your soul be impacted through your battle for self preservation? This is a true story created by the unlevel playing field surrounding the adoption triangle; the secrecy upheld; and the pain of truth never shared.

About the Author

My existence, both fact and fantasy, began in San Diego, California on March 1st, 1953. The ignorance of the era provided a multitude of societal roadblocks impacted by law, protected by secrecy. This factual, yet cruel accounting of events has offered me the strength to rise above the low places necessary for me to revisit, as well as the demeaning experiences I was forced to survive and eventually overcome. My story has been a 25 year commitment to my search for identity, and a testimonial to its recovery. There is peace in knowledge; reality in truth.
