Voices of Generations Past: The Belief of the Igbo, an African Tribe narrates confl icts between the old and the new belief systems in Odinala, a Nigerian village. The confl icts were particularly brought by the slave trade, WW I, WW II, the Great Infl uenza, and the introduction of Western system of education. The life of Nna Pius and his attempts in teaching young people depict the cultural changes that took place at that time. The proceeds of this book will be used to support the Sportif Drinking Water Project in Nigeria.


About the Author

Dr. Emmanuel Nwozuzu is married to Mrs. Cordy Nwozuzu. He taught in New York Public Schools until he retired in 2005 where he thought a wide variety of subjects including Chemistry, Reading and Writing. He obtained Doctor of Philosophy at the Iowa State University of Science and Technology, Ames Iowa. While teaching in New York schools he was awarded the prestigious United States Presidential Scholars Teacher Recognition Merit Award in 2005, later the United States Congressional Merit Award in education in 2009 and the Cooper Humanitarian award in 2009. Dr. Nwozuzu is the author of a best seller book Voices of Generations Past, which had been exhibited in Lincoln Center New York, Niagara Falls and Miami in the United States. In this new book, The Apology of a Sex Offender he depicts a story of sin, remorse and conversion. The writer leaves it for the reader to determine the sincerity of the offender. Although the story is a true story, all names of people in the story are fictitious.
