About the Author

Glenda ‘Cookie’ Myles is a native of Southern California. A couple of years ago, Cookie; her family; and her menagerie of pets moved from Rosamond, California (A very small town in the Antelope Valley) to Las Vegas, Nevada. When asked, “Where do you get the inspiration for your poetry?” Cookie replied, “From life. Each of my poems is based on something I have experienced, seen, felt, or heard. My poems are a personal journey of my life.” The second phase of this personal journey is on the way. Until then, may God bless you with a safe day and a prosperous way.
