Our eternal existence depends on our awareness of what we’re exposing our souls to. That’s why it’s imperative to learn to listen to your conscience. You’ll be shown how to remain in “a state of grace” through which your life will take on a new purpose and understanding. You’ll be able to cope with your crosses and begin to see them as blessings in disguise. All things are to be endured for the sake of eternal life.
Your mission on earth should be to strive constantly to follow the teachings and examples of Jesus and always seek to do God’s Divine Will. You must rise to the challenge of your own individual spiritual battle. By accepting God into your heart in charitable love, you gradually empty yourself of your weakness to Satan and replace it with strengthening grace. Through salutary fear of God, you discover the truth and achieve salvation in Heaven forever.
Those who give to others selflessly do so because they are aware that God has allowed them to receive all they possess. Only by sharing the good things God allows you to receive in this world can you store up your treasures in the next world. Otherwise, God’s gifts of grace through prayer and devotion are rendered useless spiritual commodities which you wasted during your stay here on earth. Likewise, you fail to properly plan for your spiritual retirement to life everlasting.
