About the Author

A gypsy at heart and of eclectic predilections, Jaiya Tiye is an avid student of The Great Mystery and esoteric studies. A woman of many nations but one people, Jaiya is a multi-cultural-creative of African-American, West Indian, Scotch-Irish, and Welsh, Jewish, French-Canadian, Native American and Algonquin Indian extraction. Early on a folksinger, lyricist and songwriter, her love for music, language and the arts led her to writing poetry quite naturally. An incurable romantic, the author’s offering of this book of poetry is an attestation to her belief in the miracle of love, its tragedies and gifts; it’s transformative and healing powers. A California transplant via Ohio, Jaiya grew up at the shores of Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu beaches. Both mother and friend to two college-attending sons, she enjoys the aesthetic and healing arts, metaphysics, spirituality and nature. Jaiya Tiye now resides in Sacramento.
