About the Book

A journalist of the Jahoah-Edge Magazine, Rita Dunn is determined to get a fine scoop of the life of Edith Belle, a college administrator and the wife of the Director of the Drug Enforcement Agency, Lloyd Hayes.

A very dependable man of the DEA, Hayes is given honor for his latest service of leading an operation that netted the largest drug bust in history. His dangerous and highly sensitive job takes its toll on him when his wife is abducted days after the supposedly successful drug bust operation.

Rita Dunn, on her way to see Edith for an interview, ends up witnessing the abduction. Compelled to know where her new friend is, she unintentionally drags herself into the mess and gets abducted as well.

As alarming news of the abduction filled the headlines, Rita’s family, who are now aware of her involvement, tries to find her. A former private eye and a man with skills, her husband Nate Jones is out to save her no matter what it takes. Will he be able to rescue her before it is too late? Will his valiant past come in handy? Will he take the risk of revealing that he is the mysterious and legendary Nab Jones?

Join Nate Jones as his valiant past helps him in rescuing his wife from abduction. The gripping book takes readers back to Nate’s military days. A man of delinquent attitudes and bad habits such as gambling and drug abuse, he soon changes his behavior and character. From taking drugs, he becomes determined to combat its usage and distribution worldwide. While learning from the school of hard knocks, he becomes enchanted with and by an ancient tribe. Follow his adventures in Nab Jones: An Original African-American Legend.

About the author B.C. Kidd spent four years in the U.S. Air Force traveling around the world. He experienced many things some people only dream about. The event that sticks out most in his mind was being detained in a detoxification unit overseas and fortunate enough to have an intimate familiarity with the American P.O.W.'s, that were released by the communist at the end of the Vietnam conflict. He served another tenuous and most eventful four years in the federal government, working for the Dept. of Commerce, having made acquaintance with some top dignitaries during Nixon's regime. Bumping elbows with traveling diplomats and well known foreign emissaries was K B. C. Kidd's way of life until California called him back to articulate in health care, where he worked as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Although, this is B. C. Kidd's second book, with many more to follow ,he has some experience with writing. Scripting documentation notes in the medical charts for an eclectic sampling of disabilities would elicit different but dynamic writing skills from Kidd, to be a most effective therapist.
