These poems are inspired from all walks of life, old and new, written for all ages. Most people say they can relate to these poems through their own experiences in life. You will not find any poems more heartfelt, or true to life, than these.

About the Author

Nadine Stevens was born in the small logging town of Bogalusa, La. and grew up near the banks of the Pearl River in the Deep South of Mississippi. Being the second child of ten children, and living on a small farm, She learned early in life of the many chores to be done, but there was always ample time for to play. Her dad worked away from home a lot, but always found time to hang a swing from a limb, or build a bird house or bounce board. Her mom on the other hand, taught her to sew and crochet. Having raised two sons, she didn’t always have the time or talent to write, but one day as she was driving down the highway, a poem began to unfold so vividly, that she felt that she should put it on paper. It was only after she had read what she had written, that she realized that it was a given talent which was meant to be shared with others. She have never ceased to be amazed by the beautiful presence of these poems or the events from whence they were inspired.
