The Transporters of God

About the Book

"The Transporters of God" (from the Arabic: al na´qala-tul-lah, meaning the transmitter, or transporter for Allah. Another name is the "Camel of God" mentioned in Qur´an. This book is a unique and dynamic message that has been extrapolated and reasoned upon from various symbolic or coded text of the Holy Qur´an. This excellent work by Moziah Ali which concerns scriptural text expositions and enlightenment gives its readers some amazingly accurate and revealing parallel scenarios from the symbolisim of this mystery she-camel mentioned in various ayats (verses) of the Muslim holy book.

The style and rationalization of this great work gives one a realistic look at the she-camel´s true symbolic meaning with respects to its connection to people of faith. Unlike many other authors who have unwittingly subscribed into generations of past down ancient Arab folktales about the she-camel, which has ultimately made her into a mythical creation with supernatural powers that is disconnected with Qur´an and reality. Moziah Ali dismisses their myths and uses an uncanning but simple technique to decode the symbolism from the Arabic text, thus providing for us an accurate analogy of the social, and spiritual evolution of the believers from the symbolic or coded language. This process makes the overall message easy to understand.

This author concurs with scholar and well known Muslim translator Abdul Yusuf Ali, who writes that this very significant sign of the she-camel in Qur´an is actually describing the plait of the poor and oppressed believers. Moziah Ali elaborates on this unique observation by A. Yusuf Ali and begins to narrate the believer´s story and experiences of hardships, trials, and sacrifices in order to become religious communities throughout history. This experience, the author say, is a type of conditioning process from G_d. And this, he says is what ultimately makes them the transporters of God.

These believers through their extraordinary faith, sacrifices, patience, and prayers do succeed in transporting G_d´s Plan or Way into society for the sake of mankind´s salvation. This is the same type of conditioning that Islam´s holy prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and his followers had to endure in order to establish the first Muslim Ummat (Islamic Community).

In the Qur´an the symbolism is a metaphor that describes a group of believers in Thamud (Samood) society who simply wanted to follow G_d´s Guidance from their prophet by the name Salih (pbuh). They also wanted to share and enjoy the bounties of the earth´s riches as everyone else in their society had done. However the oppressive Thamud corrupted leadership refuses to grant them these same rights and privileges as they had enjoyed, and in fact hindered their efforts when the believers began to establish themselves in the land.

These same scenarios, Ali says are reflected once again in our modern times with the struggles of the new Islamic movement in America. In spite of the Islam phobic atmosphere that was created after the tragedy of 9/11 in 2001, the religion, on the contrary continues to spread in many communities throughout the West. This is simply because of Islam´s true philosophy of faith, peace, and brotherhood among mankind regardless of their differences in society, and regardless of what the enemies of Islam do or say.

The religion is now becoming a major influence in the lives of many Americans, including a sizeable number of Caucasians. And it is especially having a major affect among Americans of African descent (those who historically have been oppressed the most in America).
