Told in first-person, the text introduces readers to a divorced woman named Cynthia, whose miserable formative years infl uence her outlook on life and ability to make wise choices. Her life is in shambles yet she continues her search for contentment. Along the way she’s called to practice the love she’s preached which takes her on an incredible journey. Does she fi nd peace and happiness at last?

About the Author

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Ms. DeGuise has a passion for music, live theatre, photography, the sea and humanity in general. She is presently fulfi lling her life long dream of helping the less fortunate, working as an Urban Missionary. Over the years Ms. DeGuise has been active in women’s ministries as a public speaker, teacher and mentor. Currently single, she is the proud mother of two adult sons, one teenage grandson and one grand-dog. Ms. DeGuise has been writing since grade school.
