About the Author

The author was born in the Midwest during the First World War. He went to work on a ranch at the age of eleven. Over the years he worked as a ranch hand, miner, Merry-go-round operator, painter and field engineer for a construction company and lastly, a business man. His varied career has taken him to twenty-three states. He and his wife have two daughters, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. They have traveled all over the world and have visited every continent, except Antarctica. They now live in Florida near the historic Suwannee River. His love for music, poetry and a penchant for writing have led to this collection of anecdotes and poems.
