About the Book

Mother's are always right, aren't they? In this fable, an important lesson is told. Through a family of mice with the names Mo, Willy, Olivia and Joe, the lesson "listen to your mother" is conveyed. When Mother Mouse goes to the store, she tells her children, "Don't go outside, the world is a dangerous place." Like most children, the mice heard these words Mother Mouse was saying, but never thought twice about them. Instead of Mother Mouse returning to her four little mice she soon finds out that things have changed.

About the Author

Emily Pfender was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She attends Solanco High School and is involved in many sports including gymnastics and soccer. Her favorite subjects include English and Science. Just like any other teenager, she enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Although she is unsure which college she will attend, careers such as journalism interest her.
