About the Book

Mia is a somewhat happy seventeen year old girl; she has it all or at least that’s what she thought but after seeing Seth for the first time she realises that she actually has something missing in her life. He seems so perfect for her that the thought of a day without his presence leaves her in despair. He teaches her how to love, trust and enjoy life to the max. And soon she’s completely and utterly in love. This is a girl’s journey in love where every day in life feels extra special but can life always be that special and wonderful when there’s dark secrets to unearth. Mia’s summer vacation starts with a party and ends with a bang, literally. It changes her life forever and makes her realise that it’s impossible to hold on to things for eternity and memories are the only things that could now keep her going.

About the Author

Shumana Begum is a 21 year old writer, she lives in east London. This is her debut novel; she doesn’t yet consider calling herself an author as this would be her first venture in the world of book writing. She never imagined herself ending up with a book to her name but gave it a go anyway. She enjoyed being so free, the freedom to create your own characters who you could be in total control of, it completely enticed her to write a story of her own. She also likes writing poems, she quotes that “writing a poem is so simple that all I have to do is just look around and inspiration will come to me; the world is full of fascinating and influential things that it’s almost impossible just to remember them all in my head.” So she writes it down instead so that from time to time she can relate to it. Shumana is also a modest painter before choosing the root to becoming an aspiring writer she longed to work in the creative arts industry. However it’s never too late, she insists that one person can do many things and she hopes to do just that because it’s never too late to conquer all your goals and ambitions.
