About the Author

Julie Ann Monroe has been in the health care industry for 28 years with experience as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Intensive Care, Emergency Room, Cardiology, Medical and Surgical units and Hospice. Julie Ann has recently received her degree in Addiction Counseling. Julie Ann has been a poet, songwriter, and guitar player since she was 8-years-old. Her first favorite poem was Block City by Robert Louis Stevenson. She has two sons, two horses, a dog, and lives with her husband, Randal, in Woodstock, Illinois. Nancy C. Storch Silverman has been a Registered Nurse for 45 years with experience in Intensive Care, Neuro-Intensive Care, and Nursing Supervision. Nancy loves oil painting, has written and published two books Stitches and its sequel The Punch, reading, stained glass, RV traveling, and spending time with her family which includes twin grandsons. She lives in Woodstock, Illinois.
