About the Book

Chimera: The Many Faces of Life and Love is an honest and oftentimes witty poetic account of situations we have all stumbled upon or witnessed someone else go through. As the facets of our lives intertwine and new realities are created, we get a glimpse at the many identities of love, life, and the things that shape us into the individuals we will ultimately become. The first chapter discusses love at its most beautiful with infinite possibilities. Chapter two touches on what occurs when we realize that things aren’t always what they seem. And lastly, the final chapter explores the drama that is associated with life. Chimera will take you on a poetic voyage and possibly give words to feelings that you have experienced in your own existence.

About the Author

Shantel Day was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She has been writing creatively for twenty-one years and also dabbled in freelance journalism for a short while. While writing has always been her passion, she also enjoys singing loudly in the shower, dancing, cooking, traveling, and modeling for local designers.
